We've put together some information about ourselves and the store in this section to give people a better idea as to who we

Two Girls With a Mission

Emily and Suzanne wanted For the Love of Beads(FtLoB) to
supply unique and interesting beads to people from all
over the world.
"Suzanne and I hope to provide great customer service. Our
small size helps us attend to each order with special care.
Unlike larger businesses, we want to make ourselves
personable and approachable.

We are expanding our inventory continually, and we plan to
greatly expand the community aspects of the site."

For the Love of Beads was a small, family run online bead
store. No longer very actively updated, Emily and Suzanne
jumped at the opportunity to take it over in 2006. It took a
year to sort out what to do with the site, and it was
re-launched in June 2007.

Emily was busy getting married and going back to college,
while Suzanne was taking care of her two young children. As
things settled down over the next year, they were able to
focus better on finding great new products and redesigning
the website. In late 2008, Mike (Emily's husband) and Hayden
(Suzanne's husband) got more involved in the project, having
freed up some time from their busy work schedules. Since
then the four of them (with a little help from some other
friends and colleagues) have worked hard to realize their
dream of running an active business and working towards
fostering a fun and inclusive online community.
